A Busy Weekend

This last weekend was a busy one for our little family.

We went down to Salt Lake for my brother Ricky's wedding that weekend. One benefit of the wedding being in Salt Lake was that we got to visit my in-laws for a couple of days and Lily got to spend some time with with her grandparents and her Aunt Katie.

Here's a short video of her playing the the rocking horse at grandma's house. She loved it!

Friday was Ricky's wedding and it was wonderful to all be together for it. We are happy to welcome Julie into the family! It was raining and cold so I didn't manage to get any pictures, but Kenny did so hopefully I will get to see some soon.

The reception was back in Boise on Saturday so we headed back home for that. It was great to see a lot of old friends at the reception. Lily scratched up her arm on my corsage though so she didn't last all that long.

All in all it was a great weekend, but very very busy!

...Eleven Months...

The time is passing so quickly! Today Lily Ann is 11 months old.

She is a growing girl and she is into everything! She loves to cruise all over the house and is becoming more and more confident on her feet all the time. She loves to talk and razz and harass the dog at every opportunity.

As always, another month means another onesie. We are almost finished with this, and while I am excited to have it completed, it makes me a little bit sad. Anyway, here it is:

The Back:

Easter

As promised, a few pictures of Lily in her Easter dress. We took them this morning, but it was rather cold so I didn't keep her out for a prolonged photo shoot. The dress is a little big on her, but I love it. Mostly because the girl in it is just as cute as they come! She loves the filled Easter eggs. She has to examine each and every one of them.
Another lovely shot.
The sun was in her eyes a bit so we have a smile with a squint.
And finally, a video of our girl sorting through her basket.
All in all it was a lovely day. We stayed home this morning and watched conference and then went to my parents house for a family dinner and to watch the final session. It was a great day to spend with family and remember our Savior Jesus Christ.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today was Lily's first Easter Egg Hunt. It was a little chilly and windy, but over all a lot of fun. We went over to Lion's Park and met up with some friends as well as my little brothers and sisters.

Lily started out with her daddy helping her. She had no idea what was going on at first, but once she saw the eggs she wanted one.
She didn't care to crawl to find more once Tyson sat her down near some.
I love this picture because it shows off the whole ridiculous outfit. It wouldn't be so crazy were the sunglass' strap hidden under the hat, but oh well. She kept trying to eat them and hold as many as possible at the same time.
She figured out how to open them.Next year she is going to be running all over the place!
