Boating

Last night Lily and I went to the lake with my family. We ended up just boating around rather than swimming, but Lily loved the boat ride. Lily loves to swim in the tub so next time we might try getting in the lake.Here she is rocking her new swimsuit. Still a little big, but this girl is growing like a weedso it will fit soon.

I finally got it!

Lily has started smiling. We LOVE her smiles, but they are elusive. She can be smiling away and as soon as I get a camera she is all done and will not be coerced into giving another one. Yesterday I was finally able to get a couple of pictures.
She has this sweet little serene smile which I just love.Her full grin is fabulous too, but I haven't been able to get a real picture of that yet. I'll keep working in it.

Silly Daddy!

So Tyson shaved his head again the other day. He knows that hate it, but he likes it. Anyway, he said that it was okay because now he and Lily have matching haircuts. Well, we decided that if they were going to have matching haircuts then they should have matching hairdos...
I swear, the bow and the picture were Tyson's idea.

...One Month...

Everyone told me that time would just fly, but I never realized just how fast it would go. Today out little Lily Ann is ONE MONTH OLD!

She is growing so well. She is over 2 pounds over her birth weight and she can lift her head, coo, and even smile!

A friend shared the following idea with me, and I decided to go for it. (Thanks for the link Bonita!) I made this little onesie for her this morning.

Oscar and Lily

So many of you know that for some time we have been concerned for some time with how Oscar would respond to Lily. Well, as it turns out he just loves her. I snapped this picture last night while I was on the computer. He just sat there for about half an hour watching her and resting his head on her bouncy chair and Lily seemed quite taken with him. I think that they'll have fun growing up together.
