A New Noise

Well Lily has learned to razz and well, that is pretty much all she has done for the last 4 days. It's cute except when she is around her cousin and little uncles. They copy her, but they get in trouble for it. She's already getting them in trouble...

You would think that this 55 lb dog wouldn't put up with this, but it is a regular occurance around here. She has recently decided that poking him in the eye is rather fun and he just sits there and lets her. Crawling under the Jumperoo is now much more fun than jumping in it.My friend Angelie was over on Saturday with her Scentsy products and Lily tried the sample scents. She kept putting one in her mouth (they aren't big enough to get past her teeth) and then she would bang two other ones together.

Easter Dress

I finished Lily's Easter dress this morning and I am so excited about it! I made it a little big because I wanted it to fit for more than 3 months, but it still fits now. For pictures of her wearing it you will have to check back on Easter Sunday.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the finished product. This is an original pattern. The skirt is a lace entrelac motif that I just fell in love with!
I added the little flower here at the waist. And due to the entralac motif we ended up with a beautiful scalloped edge. Here is the back view with the little pearl button on top.

And of course, a matching hair clip just because I had to.

Spring is just around the corner!

Spring is almost here! Yesterday I noticed that my hyacinths were starting to bloom and it was 65 degrees! Thank heaven! I have missed the warm weather, the sun, and generally spending time out of doors.

Today was another beautiful day so Lily and I spent the afternoon outside. She loved the sun, but the grass, not so much.

...Ten Months...

Well, time continues to fly by and Lily Ann is 10 months old today.

These last few weeks have been very eventful. Lily has finally learned to crawl, pull herself up on anything and everything, and cruise along the furniture. She has become so independent and is so proud of herself.

This morning Lily weighed in at 22 pounds even and about 28 inches long.

And as always, another month means another onesie.

Baby Gated

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Lily has started moving all over the place and so we had to finally put up some baby gates. Well, it turns out that they are just one more thing to cruise along and shake.

New T-Shirt and Updates

Well, I found this shirt a few days ago and thought that it was fabulous so I picked it up.
We are only 70 days away from her first birthday and I can hardly believe it. My girl is getting so big. She loves to cruise along the furniture, her toys, and even her crib. And tonight, she even started to take little crawling "steps". Any day now she is going to be hauling all over the house. I'd better go shopping for some baby gates!
